TARES comes from FOCBS/BAZG; NOGA from FSO/BFS, NACE from Eurostat and ISIC from the United Nations; the financial register from FINMA, with identified enrichment including GLEIF LEIs. Refer to the sources and reports in each archive. Public access does not mean all content may be freely redistributed.
TARES: unofficial publication
Conditions communicated by FOCBS/BAZG on 21 April 2026 require unchanged content, a clear distinction from official publications and no official logos. Explanatory notes (Erläuterungen) and classification decisions (Entscheide) are excluded.

FINMA, LEI and classifications
FINMA correspondence dated 6 May 2026 addresses reuse of its information; it is neither product certification nor permission for every possible use. GLEIF LEI data is provided under CC0 1.0 independently of our compilation. Other sources’ rights and attribution requirements remain applicable. Classification mappings are not all exact or complete. STATENT is not currently distributed by the service.
Verify an archive
Keep the ZIP, date and SHA-256 digest. Recent archives contain checksums.sha256 and provenance.json, with file digests, sources and an Ed25519 signature. The actual file list and limitations are described in the README and quality report. Use the repository verification tool and OpenSwissData’s published public key; older versions may differ.
The signature establishes that the manifest has not changed since being signed by our key. A present and valid RFC 3161 timestamp adds time evidence. Neither guarantees factual accuracy, completeness, legal rights or approval by an authority.
Report an error or rights issue
Send the file, version, source concerned and a precise description to contact@openswissdata.com. Correction and removal requests are reviewed against the relevant duties and the rights of individuals, sources and customers. No universal removal deadline is promised.
